Ingredients
- Wonton skins
- Bananas, sliced
- Vegetable oil
Instructions
Heat oil in a frying pan. Fold wonton skin diagonally around a slice of banana, and seal by wiping edges with a wet finger and then pressing together. Drop wonton pouches into the hot oil and fry for a few minutes on each side, until golden brown. Remove from pan and drain on a paper towel to soak up excess oil. Sprinkle with powdered sugar, drizzle warm honey over the top, or serve with vanilla ice cream.
This is a good easy dessert when you have leftover wonton skins from making Chinese nachos. It’s also a good way to use up overripe bananas.
